It’s always hard to watch someone you love leave but in the passage you’re referring to: them leaving would of made the healing process easier. It would of been nice, actually. That was really the main thing about what i wrote. I needed them to leave because i knew they weren’t good for me but at the time i didn’t have it in me to do it myself. It was vicious cycle that i couldn’t get out of; we couldn’t get out of. Being in a toxic/abusive/trauma bonded relationship isn’t easy to get out of. You always want them to leave because you can’t.
